From 4th up to 8th November,2024, Yalla Yalla Group senior staff embarked on a comprehensive field visit to monitor and asses the implementation of PESFIS project activities in different irrigation schemes. The primary objective of these visits was to gain firsthand insights into the progress made, identify challenges faced by farmers and explore opportunities for further improvement.
During our week-long journey, we had the opportunity to visit various irrigation schemes across different districts where PESFIS project is being implemented. These visits provided us with a valuable opportunity to observe the practical application of the project’s strategies and technologies.
We interacted with a diverse group of stakeholders including farmers, agricultural extension officers and government officials. Through these interactions, we were able to gather invaluable information about the challenges and opportunities within the agricultural sector.
Based on our findings and insights, we are committed to developing sustainable solutions that address the challenges faced by farmers and strengthen the agriculture sector.
Our week-long field work provided us with a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the agricultural sector. By working closely with farmers, government officials and other stakeholders, we are confident that we can develop and implement effective solutions to impower farmers and build a more resilient and sustainable agricultural system.
